4 Soldiers don’t get tied up in the affairs of civilian life, for then they cannot please the officer who enlisted them. 5 And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. 2 Tim 2:4-5 NLT

Our prime purpose in life as soldiers of the kingdom of God Jehovah is his son’s last command “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Mat. 28:19-20). Education, work, marriage, kids are temporal things that we’ll leave when we die. But the souls that we bring to Christ, by His grace and mercies they will enter into eternal bliss. As believers it is not bad to have these things, it is only bad when you place them above God and your ministry. When getting married and and having a PHD get in the way of your calling, they are no longer pleasing to God, even though he created them for us.

Vs 5 encourages us as Saints of God to do everything lawfully. We will not enter heaven unless we do the things of God lawfully. He commands us to love our neighbors, pay tithes, spread the His word of  truth, not lie nor cheat. But there are times as Christians, we say God will understand and he sees our circumstances. He does but He still expects you to live according to the laws of  His mouth as well as the laws of this land.

Everything is in this life has a procedure or protocol, follow them and you’ll live a blessed life.

God’s love to you all.soldier_in_gods_army_mousepad-p144272749876587089z8xsj_400

On a car journey, there was a conversation flowing about demons and their activities.

Especially those demons we struggling with that we dont share. Im usually lost in these convos and I cn admit that at times my mind goes on vacation. But when they started talking about this particular demon its as if there was spiritual lightbulb moment; like why have u not clocked this yourself?!

So anyway, they were saying that “not trusting anyone at all is a demonic activity” (Ive paraphrased).

The thing is most of us have that issue. I can say that it is something that is accepted by modern society not by God. As put my brothers and sisters in that car, ” if u dont trust any man, then u dont trust God. Your marriage will not work or u will never marry. U dont trust ur pastor to pray or counsel you.  And saddest of all u dont trust God. How can u not trust the one u can see and claim to trust the One you cannot see?”  Logically think about it.

This is one that I know as young girls and sometimes women, we suffer from. We build this protective wall around our heart and emotions from hurt. We just cant take another heart break. Another dissapoint. As divinely put by one of the women of God in the car; you’re only doing this doing this because uve already been hurt; dissapointed; heart has been broken and u have vowed never to let it happen again. You are only hurting yourself. You are  blocking so many doors from being opened in ur life. Let Go and Let God.  Let ur pastor/Rev or Minister pray for u. Yourself, continue to pray for healing. Healing so u can trust again. IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

BUT be careful not to put ur trust in man for the bible says in
Isaiah 2:22 NIV
Stop trusting in mere humans,
who have but a breath in their nostrils.
Why hold them in esteem?.

The Dictionary definition for trust is

1. Reliance on the integrity, strength, ability, surety, etc., of a person or thing; confidence.
2. confident expectation of something; hope.

We are directly told by God not to trust in man. Don’t put our trust in them. The moment u decide to put your trust in a human, u preparing for a heart break, disappointment, anger, bitterness and so much more.

Hope this blesses someone who is reading this. I shall continue on this topic next week.
